Sarah Ready is quickly becoming an auto-buy author! I have had the pleasure of getting 3 arcs from her this year and they all have been over 5 star reads. Ghosted so far has been my favorite.

Synop:

Jillian Nejat is the oxymoron of a love expert - which she writes about at her job. She is terrified to speak to men but loves to tell people to be themselves and their true love will find them.

To cut down on her expenses, she decides to rent an apartment in NYC site unseen -when she arrives, she realizes the renting agent failed to mention two very important details: every surface of the apartment is covered in floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and that it is haunted by a hot, shirtless ghost!

Daniel is the man haunting the apartment but doesn't remember anything about his past, nor how to found Jillian. He just tells her that she was the bright light that he saw and walked towards and that they were already friends before he became a ghost.

Jillian is terrified that there is a ghost in her apartment, nonetheless an attractive MAN ghost. What she finds the most puzzling is that she can easily talk to him - she doesn't stay silent like she does for 99% of her blind dates. With this development they strike up a deal, he'll help her improve her advice column and she will help him figure out what happened.

After many practice dates, Jillian is starting to realize that she doesn't want to date other people, she only wants Daniel. She is starting to fall for the man she can't have, nonetheless, hold hands with.

My Reaction:

I can't tell you how many times I teared up while listening to the story. Jillian and Daniel's journey was super touching to me. They truly cared for each other and would do anything to help each other succeed.

I was a mess while cleaning my local library and then my boss's apartment! My boss thought something happened in my personal life to make me cry, NOPE, just this damn story!

My ONE critique was that I wish it was a dual POV. The narrator's listing was deceiving. I thought there would be chapters from Daniel's POV, but there aren't (only the epilogue is from Daniel's POV).
